Q. Is there ever a time where you find that the diversity in your work becomes confusing or draining?

A. Absolutely, however I cannot help but make the effort to write what I am feeling strongly about. I wrote Subway Reaper in a little less than two months, beginning to end, and it just felt solid. I moved on from that right into a children's themed book. I admit, it's a stretch, but that is how I stay motivated as a writer. If all I did was horror, I don't think I would find it very enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, artists who produce mostly simliar content or styles of work are extremely talented, and if that works for them, I salute them. Me, I feel having a couple different projects being juggled at the same time keeps me sharp, on my game, and my end product is that much better because of the detail and organization I have to put into it.

Q. Is horror your favorite category overall?

A. Absolutely not! I wrote Subway Reaper on a dare from a production assistant. I never really saw myself dabbling in that area, but took the dare as a challenge. I feel it worked out rather well. At one time I would have told you my favorite category would have been military and historical topics. Right now I am just completing the work on a love story (Time After Time) and also another book that is an erotic thriller (Safe Word Unspoken).
both projects are completed and out of production as of this date and headed to editing
